Competition winning designs for a temporary sculpture installation at Canary Wharf. Two options were proposed, each an arrangement of horizontal and vertical planes cut by angled ramps. The designs represent an abstraction of flowing water, rhythm and change in response to the strong physical form of the site and the proximity of the River Thames.
The first design is composed of three stainless steel fins and the second is a combination of two red and two stainless steel fins and a vertical frame with LED lights. A blue line on the ground, occurs in both designs and represents the former presence of water.
